The mission statement of the Liberia Christian Association of the Blind CAB is to humanize the treatment of all blind and partially sighted citizens of Liberia through the promotion of education and skill training; creating the enabling environment and advocating for change in the condition of the blind and the perception about blindness itself, affording the blind the opportunity to become independent and self-supporting through economic sustainable activities for their empowerment and full social integration for dignity and self-respect of the individual blind person."
