Basheru Sheriff

Basheru Sheriff is a student of the CAB NATIONAL RESOURCE INSTITUTE for the Blind. In September 2017, he enrolled at the Center program where he is undergoing education and rehabilitation; has acquired skills in braille reading and writing as well as other blindness related courses such as white cane travel to enable him navigate the community independently. Age 17, Basheru hails from Grand Cape Mount County. Upon completion of primary education at the CAB CENTER for the BLIND, he will then be integrated into the regular school to attend school with fully sighted pupils in the same classroom and studying the same curriculum. He is among 10 other pupils who are currently benefiting from the computer education program for the blind.

Edmund Oberly

Edmund Oberly is 16 years, in the 6grade at the CAB NATIONAL RESOURCE center for the BLIND. His future career is to study political science at any university in Liberia. Edmund views the computer education program as an opportunity to accelerate his personal career development which gives him the power to gain employment in the labor market.

Joseph Zarwu

Student Joseph M. Zarwu, is a 12th grade senior student of the Bethesda Christian Mission School. WAS born in 1998 as a fully sighted person and later lost his sight in 2012 while attending primary school.

In March 2015, Joseph joined the Liberia Christian Association of the Blind, following a prolonged unfruitful use of resources to regain his sight.

Today, Joseph is proud of the value that he has acquired from the CAB institute. He has a deep thirst for reading Criminal Justice and conflict resolution. He compliments Sustain for Life for the computer education program that transforms the blind and promotes educational efficiency for all visually impaired learner in Liberia.

Elizabeth J. Lepolu

Elizabeth J. Lepolu is a 9th grade student of the Bibleway mission school. Has passion for reading education so much that she promises to continue praying that nothing will hinder her pursuit of education. Elizabeth Has a desire to study business management and is confident that the training in computer education will make that dream come to pass.

Gladys Gorwor

Gladys Gorwor is 14 years old visually impaired. She has passion for music. “I hope to study music in one of the best universities anywhere in the World”, Gladys asserted. . Her knowledge in access technology has empowered her to achieve in the music industry and hope to come out as one of the best music artists in the world.
